How To Boost Your Child's Self Esteem

I have heard that this generation will be the most photographed generation ever! I believe it, we must take at least 10 Iphone photos per day in my household (and that is a quiet day!)

I love the image of the USB framed on the wall and a portrait framed on the wall.

It really hits home that yes you have your images

but are you and others enjoying them daily?

As a foster parent to many children over the years I could really see children swell with pride when they saw their printed portraits in the house and in their bedrooms. They felt a sense of pride and loved to show others their photographs. David Krauss, a licensed psychologist says, “I think it is really important to show a family as a family unit. It is so helpful for children to see themselves as a valued and important part of that family unit.

This is the reason my collections come with printed portraits. Whether it is beautiful prints, art mounts, albums, framed portraits and canvas so you can look at and share your families special moments.

Keeping your images stored on a hardrive, USB sticks or CDs is not ensuring your photographs will last forever. My advice is to organise your computer/phone/tablet images into one folder on your computer. In this folder create a folder for each month. I use the format 04 2015 April so I can quickly see the months and they stay in numerical order. Once a week I backup this folder to my external hardrive and upload to a cloud based off-site storage system. I also print my favourite family portraits and moments for my project life album and have canvas around the house. If you don't backup in three different places I suggest keeping an external hardrive at a friend/family members house and updating that periodically.

Whether you purchase products or print your own images from your USB let's not lose our images by keeping them digitally! Let's show our children that they are so precious to us!
